AI DPRS is proud to announce the release of the first version of ResCharAI, an advanced reservoir characterization software developed in collaboration with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).
ResCharAI builds upon the successful integration of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence into reservoir studies, where core data, well logs, and image facies data were analyzed using unsupervised learning techniques such as K-means clustering. The system identifies High Flow Zones, also known as Hydraulic Flow Units, to provide deeper insight into reservoir quality and fluid flow behavior.
The software represents a major step toward automating and modernizing subsurface analysis. By combining geological expertise with data-driven intelligence, ResCharAI enhances accuracy, improves workflow efficiency, and supports smarter field development decisions.
This launch marks a significant milestone for AI DPRS as it continues to drive innovation in reservoir characterization and digital transformation within the energy sector.
